Over the years, Freeland & Associates has grown into a busy and viable Greenville SC-based firm recognized for delivering the ideal blend of professional reliability with unmatched personalized service. Jim founded Freeland & Associates, Inc. in 1975. He received a BS in Forestry from Clemson University in 1964. He received a BS in Civil Engineering from Clemson University in 1969. He is a Professional Engineer and Professional Land Surveyor in multiple states. Jim also currently serves as chairman of the Board of Metro Connects.
Kevin has been employed with Freeland & Associates since 1993. He received a BS in Civil Engineering from Clemson University in 1996. He is a Professional Engineer and Professional Land Surveyor in multiple states. With nearly 30 years of experience, Kevin has been instrumental in the completion of thousands of projects. He has experience in all aspects of civil engineering and land surveying.
Jimmy has been employed with Freeland & Associates since 1992. He received a BS in Civil Engineering from Clemson University in 1992. He is a Professional Engineer and Professional Land Surveyor in multiple states. His areas of expertise are surveying and flood studies.
Jon has been employed with Freeland & Associates since 1983. He is a Professional Land Surveyor in South Carolina. As a survey project manager, Jon has been responsible for managing more than 10,000 surveys in 20 states from research to completion. Jon has organized and managed the work of multiple crews on over 500 Wal-Mart Stores, 200 Lowes Home Improvement Retail Stores, and 50 Lowes Distribution Centers.
Michael received a BS from Clemson University, and was a member of the first graduating class of Clemson University’s Master of Real Estate Development Program. After graduate school he served as Development Manager for a residential and mixed use development firm, returning to Freeland & Associates in 2008. Michael is a Professional Land Surveyor in South Carolina.
Michael has been employed with Freeland & Associates since 1987. He holds both an Associates Degree in Materials Management and an Associates Degree in Geomatics Technology from Greenville Technical College. He is a Professional Land Surveyor in South Carolina. He has been in charge of over 10,000 projects including boundary surveys, topographical surveys, and ALTA/ASCM Land Title Surveys.
